     Drawing was my first artistic passion, of which I begain doing highly realistic rendering and portraits of photography, still lifes, and portraits. Eventually my interests in line and structure lead me to more expressive "swirl shading" and a keen investigation of imposing harsh geometric forms on organic shapes much like Tamara de Lempicka. Drawing remains the foundation of conceptualization for all my work and I enjoy providing custom portrait and still life commissions.
